Feathers and The Law of Attraction

    After my husband and I decided to build a house at our current city, we started our research on the same. Almost 6 months later, we decided to sign up for building a house with Builder W. The sales agent was very amicable to help and answer all our questions patiently. She even helped us run a rough estimate of how much the total cost of the house would end up during closing. 

   Both my husband and I had few conditions to be met when building a house. For example, there should be a bedroom in the ground floor so that it would be easier for parents to stay. We almost finalized our signing date with W builder. Destiny has it, the sales agent called up during the last moment and said, we won't be able to have the 1/2 car garage extension that we importantly needed for extra storage space. 

 

  We were disappointed that we won't be able to build house with W builder as that was the last remaining plot in our preferred locality. As a result, we went back to Square 1 and began looking for other builders in nearby locality. 

    My husband is a very practical and logical person. He was fine with us to start searching again for houses from Square 1. Me, being a F person (MBTI trait) became very attached to the unbuilt dream house. I wasn't able to let go of the feeling of attachment so easily. 

        

    One fine morning, I reached my office and to my surprise, I saw this grey feather on my desk next to my keyboard. My instinct said, this feather is trying to convey me something. I googled for the spiritual meaning of seeing a feather in an unusual place. It said, "feathers appear when angels are near" and "It’s a symbol of acknowledgment, that someone or something in the spirit world is looking out for you, keeping you safe and empowering you to whatever path you set upon. If you see a feather, your angel is near and they are reminding you that, with them, you are safe".

   Somehow, "Someone in the spirit world looking out for you" meant my maternal grandmother. She had flew away from Earth couple of months ago. I felt relieved that she is guiding me from the other realm. After this incident, I started to look out for feathers and they would appear. Law of attraction worked its way beautifully through feathers to me.

    Back to house hunting, we decided to check Builder M just like that. We quickly scanned the model house and it met all of our conditions. I checked the interiors of the house and looked at the wall decors. My eyes caught hold of these beautiful pieces of décor. The feathers on the décor conveyed me that we will choose this builder and sign up in the next two weeks. 

  

    

  We did sign up for building the house and now, it's been two years since we moved in. Happy home <3 Grateful to the feather(s) and to my angherambo (maternal grandmother). 

PS: My logical mind wouldn't rest and continued to search for the reasons of how the grey feather landed on my desk. Though I didn't search for the reason consciously, the answer came to me when I least expected it :) Nevertheless, the feathers served their purpose in finding a beautiful home for us.
